The Maryland State Dept. of Education’s (MSDE) Office of School & Community Nutrition Programs seeks 3 full time Contractual Staff Specialists with a strong passion for School and Community Nutrition! Bring your professional, innovative, and creative skills to support Maryland’s expanding, federally funded Child Nutrition Programs within MSDE.

 

Nutrition Finance/Grants Specialist III #18-005298-0003: responsible for the administration and management of the financial components of the Child Nutrition Program & provide technical assistance & training to sponsoring agencies that participate in Maryland’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Nutrition Programs.

 

Nutrition Compliance Specialist III  #18-005298-0001:  responsible for monitoring and providing technical assistance to school districts, child care centers and other organizations and sites where children and adults participate in federal and State Nutrition Programs administered by the Department. 

 

Nutrition Fiscal Integrity Specialist III # 18-005298-0008:  responsible for managing the financial integrity for the Child Nutrition Programs administered by the Office of School and Community Nutrition Programs at the Maryland State Department of Education.
