General Radiologist
St. Agnes Hospital Department of Diagnostic Imaging is recruiting a BC/BE fellowship trained general radiologist with MQSA certification to join its practice. The ideal candidate would be experienced in providing services in the interpretation of X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI and Fluoroscopy. Additional skills are needed in mammography, US / stereotactic guided breast biopsies and breast needle localizations. Basic IR (thoracentesis/paracentesis) is a plus.
The position includes rotating through the hospital based Diagnostic Imaging department and on-site outpatient imaging center. No travel is involved. Teleradiology coverage provides final reads during overnight call. Evening coverage (until 7pm) and weekend call (until 5pm) is shared evenly amongst the radiologists.
Imaging services are fully digital with state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens Dual Source Drive CT scanner, 64 slice Siemens and GE CT scanners, 2 Siemens 1.5T MRI scanners, as well as the latest GE ultrasound equipment and Hologic 3D mammography. Addition of 3D stereotactic breast biopsy equipment is anticipated by Fall of 2018.

St. Agnes Hospital is part of the Ascension Health Ministry, the nation's largest nonprofit health system. The hospital has multidisciplinary institutes, including cancer, cardiovascular, endocrine and orthopedics which provide a broad patient population. The department of Diagnostic Imaging also provides imaging and interventional services to the Comprehensive Breast Center. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in weekly interdisciplinary tumor boards/conferences.
