Accreditation Manager

Position Description: Under the direction of the Director of Psychometrics and Research, the position of Accreditation Manager oversees and plans the organization's adherence to accreditation standards, internal audits and the Quality Management System (QMS). This is an exempt position.
Primary Responsibility:
- Plan, coordinate and manage the maintenance and adherence to the organization's accreditation standards
- Responsible for implementing and continually improving a compliant Quality Management System (QMS). This includes evaluation and continuous monitoring, auditing, and analyzing to validate effective implementation and operation of the QMS.
- Manage all internal audits
- Manage the organization's document control and record retention policies.
- Ensure deadlines are met for the accreditation program.
- Provides advice, support, and assistance by interpreting policies and procedures.
- Assists Senior Staff with writing and/or reviewing new and revised policies to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and best practices.
- Keeps informed about changes in accreditation standards and recommends policy adjustments as necessary.
- Manages the on-site inspections by accrediting bodies.
- Ensures all annual and/or time sensitive reviews, reports, audits, and inventories are completed as required by accreditation.
- Prepares and submits annual agency reports for accreditation.
- Responsible for maintaining all files and data entry for compliance with the accreditation process.

- Skill in proof-reading documents and making appropriate corrections.
- Ability to learn and apply technical terminology and information specifically related to the organization.
- Must exercise a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Three or more years of related experience.
- Experience with ISO/ANSI 17024 or National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation preferred but not required

There may be travel of less than 10% of the time in this position.
