This position will provide hardware and software support of Windows workstations, servers, printers, tablets, smartphones and assist the agency Computer Network Specialist and Network Administrator with planning, integrating and managing software/software and file backup on a local and wide area networks. Includes installing and supporting operating systems, local and cloud based applications, SQL and MS Access database management, wiring installation and troubleshooting network connectivity issues. Installation/upgrade of Windows 10 workstations, laptops, tablets, etc. Candidate will field help desk calls and assist end users with IT issues. Shall assist with IT equipment inventory and systems documentation.
Comptia A+, Network +, Security +, Working knowledge of the functions and capabilities of multi-tasking computer systems and related data communications systems, Windows Server. Experience installing, modifying and maintaining operating systems software and data communications software. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Android, Windows 10, 7, XP, MS SQL. Experience with Netapp NAS disk appliances and telephone switching equipment is a plus. Degree or Thirty credit hours from an accredited College or University in Computer Information Technology. Computer Science, Management Information Systems.
