The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Divisions of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery have an opening for a 1-year non-categorical surgical fellowship position starting in July/August 2017. The Johns Hopkins Hospital has a long standing history of training academic surgeons in adult cardiac and congenital surgery, complex aortic and valvular procedures, TAVR, mechanical circulatory support, heart and lung transplantation, and general thoracic surgery under the direction of established clinical leaders, Drs. Jennifer Lawton (Cardiac Division Chief), Richard Battafarano (Thoracic Division Chief) and Robert Higgins (Director of Surgery and Program Director) in concert with the faculty and staff of the cardiothoracic program.
