Educational Leadership Graduate Program - Lecturer and Coordinator
Candidates with an Ed.D or a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership or related field and at least 5 years’ experience as a senior school administrator are strongly preferred. Experience with college-level teaching and administration as well as with areas such as assessment, and curriculum and planning is desirable. Candidates are required to teach four Educational Leadership courses per year (Fall and Spring) and supervise the degree seeking capstone experience (Development Portfolio Review).
As Coordinator of the Educational Leadership program, candidates will provide academic and administrative leadership to the masters’ degree and certification programs in Educational Leadership by designing and maintaining a state of the art curriculum; selecting, evaluating and providing professional development for faculty; and gathering and reporting assessment data for planning, decision-making, reporting and representing the program to both internal and external constituencies. This individual will lead the program’s efforts to maintain CAEP and MSDE accreditation and will oversee the effort to be recognized as a Pennsylvania approved program.
