Primary duties include but not limited to:
Lead and monitor the preparation of all food produced in the Bakery and food preparation activities of food services personnel in the residential, catering and retail operations. Assign bakery personnel to specific cuties and direct Bakery preparation and activities in a manner to utilize their culinary skills. Prepare consistent, high quality baked goods and desserts. Assist with preparing of Bakery menu items and observe activities in the bakery Monitor inventory levels and order food and supplies to ensure that the quantity and menued items are available for the number of customers served. Maintain optimum station coverage at all times. Examine food and supplies received to assure quality, freshness and appearance. Recommend changes and cooking methods to improve the quality of foodservice and the taste and appearance of food. Plan and coordinate bakery preparation for special events. Work in conjunction with the residential dining chef/production manager and production supervisor to improve and standardize recipes. Help in other areas as time permits.
Anticipated hiring range for position is $14.25/hr. to $15.25/hr.
